The Grassroots Left Student Network is an activist network of left-wing students that subscribe to the common ideals of non-hierarchical organising, direct action as a tool for meaningful change, and advancing student unionism and the struggles of the oppressed. We are involved in campaigning for free & fully-funded education, in preserving our environment and fighting back against those who would destroy it, in shutting down the queerphobia, racism, sexism, ableism, etc, that are all too pervasive in a society driven by capital and corporate greed.
We believe in creating change at the grass-roots level, through getting involved in networks and autonomous collectives and through intervening in our student unions making resources available to important campaigns. The purpose of our network is to facilitate organic collective-based activism, but this is only achievable by involving new people and giving them the resources to build and engage with campaigns.
So get involved, because collectively we can achieve amazing things.
